Great restaurant with Lobster Mac & Cheese, but pool could be cleaner.

Great location and welcoming cookies!

I had a lovely stay with an outstanding view of the St Clair River. The warm welcome cookies were a delightful touch upon arrival. The rooms were spacious and clean, but some noise from adjacent rooms was distracting. A little more soundproofing would enhance the experience significantly.

We had so much fun at this hotel! The kids loved the beautiful pool, and the hot tub was a hit with everyone. Easy access to Port Huron's waterfront eateries made family dining a breeze. Can't wait to come back and create more memories!

My kids wished the towels by the pool were larger for easier drying off. They said it would be great to have some larger, thicker towels instead of the smaller ones provided.

Oh, let’s talk about those fries from R&B's Fries! They're a game-changer! And working at the hotel kept things smooth with friendly staff and warm cookies to sweeten your check-in. Plus, the pool was always clean for a refreshing dip after exploring the area!

But, I found it odd that there weren't vending machines for some late-night munchies—like snacks and drinks—after the restaurant closed. That could’ve made my stay even better!

Noise can be a big issue, especially if you land a room above an event like a wedding. I could hear the DJ blaring until late at night, making for a less than peaceful stay. The bathrooms could use some thought. while the decor seems modern, the toilet fixtures feel awkward and not user-friendly. Also, I noticed one of the elevators was out of order, which adds a bit of hassle when you’re hauling luggage. Lastly, while I appreciate the welcome cookies, it would be nice to have non-nut options too since not everyone can indulge in those types.

The King Room with View offered stunning sights, and the staff were exceptionally welcoming and attentive. Dinner at the Freighters restaurant exceeded expectations, with excellent service and delicious hand-cut beef tartare. However, the room cleanliness was disappointing throughout the two nights. The check-in experience felt a bit disorganized, and I noticed noise from outside during the night, which disturbed my sleep.
